CiteScore 2024 Released: Multiple Journals Achieve Notable Growth in Academic Impact

On June 4, 2025, Elsevier officially released the 2024 CiteScore metrics. Several journals under our publishing group have achieved remarkable results, demonstrating steady growth in academic influence:

  • Journal of Environmental & Earth Sciences (JEES) increased its CiteScore from 0.7 in 2023 to 0.9 in 2024, showing steady recognition in the field of environmental and earth sciences.

  • Research in Ecology (RE) received its first CiteScore of 1.3, marking a solid step forward in academic influence within the ecology community.

  • Forum for Linguistic Studies (FLS) improved its CiteScore from 0.6 in 2023 to 0.7 in 2024, reflecting consistent progress in the field of linguistics.

  • Journal of Building Material Science (JBMS) received its first CiteScore of 0.5, representing a promising start in building material science.
